The Lily Pad 3DP is the next evolution of our premium Lily58 layout case. Taking everything the community loved about our original CNC aluminum design, we completely reworked the architecture from the ground up using Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles optimized specifically for 3D printing.

The result? A case that retains the rock-solid ergonomics and modern silhouette of the original, while introducing smart, print-focused features that elevate your build. Whether you're upgrading your current daily driver or diving into your first split keyboard project, the Lily Pad 3DP delivers thoughtful engineering you can feel.

What’s New in the 3DP Evolution?

 Optimized 3D Printed Design

We didn't just copy and paste the CNC file. The Lily Pad 3DP features optimized geometry tailored for high-quality printing, ensuring structural rigidity, clean lines, and an excellent acoustic profile without the weight of solid metal.

 Integrated Screen Shield

Leveraging the flexibility of 3D manufacturing, we raised the case profile around the display area. This built-in screen shield wraps higher around the acrylic screen cover, offering superior protection for your OLED or nice!view displays while creating a sleek, recessed aesthetic.

 Important Plate Compatibility Note: The Lily Pad 3DP is designed exclusively to work with Lily Pad Plates (both Standard and Legacy). It is NOT compatible with standard, generic Lily58 plates. Please ensure you pair this case with Lily Pad-specific plates for a perfect fit.

• Ergonomics First: Built around the community-favorite column-staggered Lily58 layout. The 6x4x4 layout reduces wrist and shoulder strain while keeping all major keys intact—making it the most approachable entry point for split keyboard beginners.

• Wireless Ready: Full support for wireless BLE builds

• Tool-less Tenting Support: Designed to work right out of the box with our Booster Pack tenting legs, allowing you to easily add a 5° or 10° tenting angle for maximum typing comfort.

• Acoustic Tuning: Optimized internal space designed to pair perfectly with sound-dampening foam, giving your switches a deeper, cleaner sound profile.

Build Options

• Standard Plate Setup: Optimized for our pre-assembled SMT hot-swap PCB for a completely solder-free build experience.

• Legacy Plate Setup: Adapts the Lily Pad 3DP to traditional solderable Lily58 PCBs. This setup is required for wireless builds using the nice!nano and supports nice!view displays.
