The Corne is one of the most beloved 40% split keyboard layouts in the custom keyboard world. Originally designed by Foostan, its compact 3x5x3 layout, ergonomic columnar stagger, and flexible hardware support have earned it a loyal following. This DIY kit gives you the parts and freedom to build it your way, using a lightweight FR4 case and the option of a solderable PCB or an SMT PCB.

  • FR4 Case
    • A cost-effective and lightweight way to get into a layout start your build. Our FR4 case comes with all the hardware you need and acrylic screen covers.
  • Solderable PCB - Corne v3.6
    • Supports both MX and Choc switches, including Choc v2. DIY-friendly with modern features like per-key LEDs, underglow, OLED & nice!view support, power switch footprint, and more. Compatible with QMK and VIA firmware. For more information view the Corne Solderable PCB v3.6 page.
  • Wireless-Ready (BLE)
    • The solderable PCB includes footprints for a power switch and battery leads, making Wireless BLE builds with nice!nano or Supermini simple and clean. Compatible with ZMK firmware.
  • Flexible Layout
    • The Corne's 3x5x5 layout is compact and extremely ergonomic. It's highly recommended and a favorite for many, whether you're just getting into splits and want a 40%, or a long user looking to optimize. 
  • Customize Your Build
    • Choose everything from the case color to the controller, OLED display, hotswap sockets, and even cables, switches, and keycaps. Add exactly what you need to your kit.
  • Works With Unicorne
    • If you're using the Unicorne case, make sure to select a legacy plate to ensure compatibility with solderable builds.
