Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Lily 58 Wireless SMT PCB fully assembled?

Yes. It’s a fully assembled, hot-swap wireless Lily 58 PCB with the microcontroller, wireless module, and sockets pre-installed. No soldering required.

What firmware does it use?

It ships pre-flashed with ZMK and works with ZMK Studio for real-time keymap changes, ideal for a wireless split Corne build.

Will it fit my existing Lily 58 case?

It works with Lily Pad and most standard Lily 58 cases, including many 3D-printed, FR4, and stacked acrylic designed. In order to use the PCB with a Lily Pad, a Wireless Plate is required.

What batteries does the PCB support?

3.7 V LiPo packs via JST connector or the +/- solder pads. Typical max sizes: Choc ~22×12×3 mm, MX ~22×12×6 mm.

Which switches are supported?

MX, Choc v1, and Choc v2 on the same PCB. Spacing is always 19.05 mm.

Can I add a display?

Yes. An 8-pin header supports screens such as nice!view and other peripherals. VCC is switchable for power savings.

What is the pinout for the expansion header?

There is an 8-pin header on each side intended for screens (like nice!view) or other peripherals. The pinout from left to right is: 0.07, 0.21, 0.12, 0.23, VCC (Switched), GND, 0.19, 0.05. The VCC pin is controlled via GPIO pin 0.31 to save power.
